Certain accessories become much more common and necessary in the warm weather—sunglasses, hats, and caps are all items that may need to be kept near the mudroom door. Consider adding hooks or shelves for these items so they can continue to stay organized as well.
If you already have these hooks in place for winter items like gloves and hats, you can also switch these out for the warmer months.
If you have children and/or pets in the home, toy storage is an important consideration as well. Depending on the size of your mudroom, you may need to add some additional shelves or bins here to accommodate all these items.
